Bridesmaid dresses

Starring: City Plaza & the iPhone

The flustered bride finally realised that the Jie meis should have coordinated dressing for the morning programme because
1) there's phototaking session after the tea ceremony
2) the guys are dressing according to a theme
3) who wouldn't want to look pretty?

Given the limited time, they opted to scour the online blogs for possible dresses. As the bride was in the vicinity of City Plaza that weekend, she dropped in to check out the dresses there, hoping to find something that wasn't a convertible dress. Given that the City Plaza visit was a "spur of the moment" thing, the jie meis were unable to join in; but promised to stick close to their phones so that they could get instant updates through Whatsapp.

The bride did have to work with certain restrictions: no tubes, modest length, non-pastel pink.

One of the first shops that the bride chanced upon was Estrella Collections (#02-108). The shop sells convertible dresses (now they come in 2-tones for a single dress) and dresses suitable for weddings (at reasonable prices). See pics below for the selections. The bride highly recommends this shop because of the helpful shop owner and her service staff.
New arrival - Arrived only the day before
Nice coral colour, but cutting is a bit small

Gorgeous colour and design, but very sexy

Very sweet and simple, but limited stock available

Gorgeous colour & material, but tube dress.

The jie meis were agreeable with most of the bride's selections. Stay tuned on 5 Nov 2011 to find out which dress the bride eventually chose for her jie meis. For info, the whole process took less than an hour!

Do note that the bride also visited other shops in City Plaza to ensure that she got the best deals. Here's what other parts of City Plaza has to offer:
