Life as Mr & Mrs on a Saturday

Their day started at 6.45am. It was supposed to be earlier, but the Mr could not wake up when his alarm rang at 6.30. Both of them dragged their sleepy butts out of the house to make their way to MacRitchie.

The Mr met up with his usual running buddY (-Y because the -IES didn't turn up or were late) and both of them went on the 10km route. The Mrs, on the other hand, was accompanied by her trusty iPhone and did the 4.5km route (u-turn at the fork).


It had been rainy the past few days, thus the trail was muddy & slippery.


They left MacRitchie at 10am and went for breakfast at the Mr's favorite bcm stall at Longhouse. Mrs tried the Prawn Noodle instead. It was ok, but the soup could be a bit tastier.



After brunch, they took the Circle Line from Marymount to Dhoby Ghaut. They hung out at Plaza Singapura to kill time as their Art Exploration Session @ Istana Park only starts at 1pm.

At the session they were told that they can put colours on to their "blue" painting that they have produced last week. Mrs struggled with the mixing of colours (should have picked a reference pic with less funny colours) while Mr's painting was still blue-ish by the end of the session. The session lasted for 2 and a half hours.


They took the Circle Line again, but this time to Stadium. There, they visited the Mega Discount Store for the 2nd time (1st time last week) in search for a washing machine & an oven. The Mrs did not like that the placement of the appliances were disparate such that it was difficult to make comparisons. Mr also got frustrated by the Mrs for being indecisive. They left Kallang Leisure Park without making any purchase.

Mr & Mrs continued on their Circle Line journey, this time stopping at Bishan (Junction 8) for dinner. Mrs discovered this restaurant a week back and loved it so much that she brought the Mr here this time.
